About Project
Habitual is an innovative online fashion shopping application that recently entered the market. As the sole UX/UI designer, I handled everything from ideation to testing. The app is designed to provide a seamless shopping experience for fashion enthusiasts, catering to users who seek convenience and a curated selection of stylish apparel.
Problem Statement
The fashion shopping experience often lacks personalization and convenience. Many existing apps overwhelm users with too many choices without adequate guidance. Habitual addresses these issues by offering a tailored shopping experience that helps users find what they love quickly and easily.
Research
To understand the needs of our target audience, I conducted surveys and user interviews. I also performed a competitive analysis of existing fashion apps. Key insights included the need for personalized recommendations, a streamlined checkout process, and an engaging user interface. Based on this research, I developed detailed user personas to guide the design process.
Ideation
During the ideation phase, I brainstormed various concepts to address the identified problems. This involved sketching initial ideas and creating mind maps to explore different solutions. Key concepts included a personalized feed, easy navigation, and a visually appealing design.
User Flow
I designed a user flow that ensured a smooth and intuitive experience from browsing to checkout. The flow includes key stages such as onboarding, browsing categories, viewing product details, adding items to the cart, and completing the purchase.
High Fidelity Wireframing
Wireframing was a crucial step in visualizing the app’s structure. I created low-fidelity wireframes for the main screens, focusing on layout and navigation. These wireframes helped identify potential usability issues early in the design process.
